We are weeks away from finishing the story. Soon after, we'll be starting on the screen play and scheduling dates for casting.

The Begining
Below is the short story writen by Stephen J. Ludt, which we are basing the movie on.
Brain Lightning
There once was a boy who suffered from migraines. What the boy didn’t know this curse was a gift.
One day during summer break the boy got another Migraine. It was the longest he ever endured. He tried the medication that usually worked, but this time it had no effect. Although he had worst migraines before, this was different. As the boy got up from the couch and stumbled in to his bed room to go to sleep he was shocked when he touched the light switch. As he lay on the floor he notice the migraine left. But as soon as he got up the pain returned. He carefully reached for the light switch when a bolt of electricity shot out of his finger to the switch and shut off the lamp.
He just stood there in the darkness looking at his fingers. What was going on here? Was this all a dream? No the pain in his head told him this was no dream. As many migraine sufferers know, sometimes sleep is the only relief.
Now he was too surprised to sleep. He walk past the family’s computer on his way to the kitchen when it just turned on. As He paused to look at the computer, the kitchen light turned on also. “What is going on here?” he asked.
He tip toed in to the kitchen and opened the freezer door to get the ice pack for his head. As he closed the door the magnet slid toward his head and just fell off the door. He walked to the couch, too scared to turn the kitchen light off.
When he put the pack on his head the ice just melted. He put his hand up to his head to check for a fever. His forehead felt cool, no way could the ice pack just melt like that. Just then a blueish bolt of electricity struck the bag of water and he passed out in to darkness.
